Health Minister Proposed To Testing Blood Of Foreigners And Employees Of Local Tourism Industry To Prevent Spreading Malaria And HIV/AIDS
The Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has today(06) proposed to implement a special programme to testing blood of foreigners who arrive Sri Lanka to settle here and all employees involved in local tourism sector in view of preventing spreading of Malaria and HIV/AIDS in the country.
Without such a programme Sri Lanka will not able to control these diseases the Health Minister has stated during a meeting held with health officials.

Government To Reconstruct Damaged Houses Near Salawa Army Camp From Government's Funds
The Government has decided to reconstruct all the houses that damaged due to the explosions and fire occurred in Salawa Army Camp from Government's funds.
Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe who had visited the salawa-kosgama area to inspect the damage caused due to the explosion and fire occurred at Army Camp has instructed the officials to repair the damaged houses with immediate effect.

Air Port Customs Detained A Person While Attempting To Smuggle Rs.3.8 Million Worth Stock Of "Wallapatta" From The Country
Sri Lanka Customs Officers have today(06) detained a person at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Air Port who had attempted to smuggle a stock of expensive "Wallapatta" worth Rs.3.8 million out of the country .
The suspect was fined Rs.100,000 while the stock of "Wallapatta" which is also known as "Gyrinops Walla" in his possession was confiscated."Wallapatta" is popular as using to make expensive perfumes.
