Sri Lanka Cricket To Appoint Former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain Sanath Jayasuriya As New Chief Cricket Selector

Image result for sanath jayasuriyaThe Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to appoint former Sri Lankan Cricket Captain and Chairman of National Cricket Selection Committee Sanath Jayasuriya as the new chairman of National Cricket Selection Committee .

Sanath Jayasuriya will be appointed as the Chief Cricket Selector in view of taking Sri Lankan Cricket to a  new path according to President Of Sri Lanka Cricket  Thilanga Sumathipala.

Sri Lankan National Cricket Team has recently experienced heavy defeats in series matches as well as in Asia Cup and 20-20 World Cup.

The Former Cricket Captain Jayasuriya has been stepped down from Chief Cricket Selector's post he held earlier exactly a year ago..

Meanwhile Former Sri Lankan opener Romesh Kaluwitharana and Ranjith Madurasinghe also due to be appointed to the National Cricket Selection Committee headed by Sanath Jayasuriya according to Sri Lanka Cricket sources.

The current Chief Cricket Selector Aravinda De Silva is due to appoint as a national adviser to Sri Lanka Cricket.

Sun is Moving Directly Over Sri Lanka From Today(12)-Department Of Meteorology

 The Sun is moving directly over Sri Lanka from today (12)  until  14th of April according to the   Meteorology Department .

Accordingly   due to the apparent northward relative motion , Sun will be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during this period  

 It has been reported  that  the Sun was overhead today  to Sri Lankan towns of Nochchikkulam,Madhu,Nanaddan and Padawiya  around   12:11 noon.
The Sun will be moving directly over Sri Lanka this week until April 14, the Meteorology Department announced. The Sun would be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during this period, due to the apparent northward relative motion of the sun.

The nearest towns of Sri Lanka over which the sun will be overhead today are Padawiya, Madhu, Nanaddan and Nochchikkulam about 12:11 noon.

Sixteen Malaria Patients Have Been Reported From Sri Lanka During First Three And Half Months Of This Year -Ministry Of Health

During the first three and half months of this year 16 Malaria Patients have been reported from the Island according to Ministry Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine.

Out of these Malaria Patients 4 were Foreigners and the last foreigner with Malaria was reported on 03rd of April from Nuwara Eliya Hospital according to the Ministry.

Although Sri Lanka has managed to eliminate the disease from the country at present through those locals and foreigners who are arriving in Sri Lanka from Malaria affected countries   there's a threat of spreading the disease the Health Ministry has stated.

CWE Has Now Becomes A Profit Making Venture-Minister Of Industries And Commerce

The Corporative  Wholesale Establishment (CWE) has now becomes a profit making venture without getting any financial assistance from the government according to Minister Of Industries And Commerce Rishard Baduideen.

In recent year CWE has remained as a loss making venture the Minister has stated .

The Minister has made these remarks at a function held in Vavuniya(In Northern Province) to recommence the work of Regional CWE Stores in Vavuniya which had been shut down for the past  12 years.
