Three Day Dengue Control Programme-Health Ministry To File Legal Cases Against 505 Premises Who Have Maintained Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places
The Ministry Of Health,Nutrition And Indigenous Medicine has decided to file legal cases against 505 Houses and Institutions at Western Province and seven other high risk Districts which have maintained Dengue Mosquito Breeding Places in their premises during the raids carried out under the three day emergency National Dengue Control Programme on last Thursday(11) and Friday(12).
During the first two days of the Programme Health Officials with the assistance of Tri Forces and Police have raided 80046 Houses and Institutions in those districts and issued notices to 3471 premises which have identified as having a risky environment of breeding Dengue Mosquitoes according to the Ministry Of Health.

A Person Detained In Connection With Child Molestation Has Been Hospitalized After Attempted To Commit Suicide
A suspect detained in connection with Child Molestation has been hospitalized yesterday (13) after he attempted to commit suicide by hang himself inside the Prison at Ambalanthota(In Southern Province) Police Station.
The suspect who had arrested by the Police for allegedly molesting a 13 year old daughter of his Clandestine Lover had attempted to hang himself by using his sarong(Local Dress) inside the prison cell of the Police according to Police.
The 48 year old suspect has been admitted to the Hambanthota(In Southern Province)Hospital for treatment.
