Principle Of Royal College -Colombo Has Been Transferred To Ministry Of Education With Immediate Effect

The Principle of the Royal College -Colombo ,Upul Gunasekere has been transferred to the Education Ministry with immediate effect due to violation of Ministry Circulars according to Minister Of Education Akila Virj Kariyawasam.

The Principle Of Royal Collage along with Principles of Kingswood College ,D.S.Senanayake College-Colombo,have been punished due to the irregularities occurred when admitting Grade One Students the Minister has said.

Earlier the Ministry Of Education has interdicted the Principle Of Kingswood College -Kandy after he was found guilty of collecting money from parents of the Grade One Students admitted for this year.

Health Minister To Establish An Exercise Center Each For Every Village In The Country

The Minister Of Health,Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr.Rajitha Senaratne has decided to establish an Exercise Center each for every  village of the country in view of  reducing the spreading of non communicable diseases .

Lack of Exercises has been identified as one if the major causes for spreading non communicable diseases in Sri Lankan Society according to the Minister.

Health Minister has stressed the need to  referring young children and their Mothers for daily exercises as due to the lack of exercises non communicable diseases like Heart Diseases,Diabetes and Blood Reassure are spreading rapidly among them.

Bakery Owners To Avoid Increasing The Prices Of Bakery Products

Image result for baker productsThe Bakery Owners Association Of Sri Lanka has today(12) said the prices of Bakery Products will not be increased although prices of several raw materials used to make Bakery Products have been increased already.

Due to the several taxes proposed through the budget proposals-2016 the prices of several raw materials used to make Bakery Products including wheat flour have been increased according to Association.

However the Consumer Affairs Authority has earlier warned it will sue some Flour Importing Companies here which increased the Flour Price illegally by Rs.2 per Kilo Gramme.
