Former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakshe And MP Namal Rajapakshe Have Been Questioned Over Fraud Deals

The Former Defense Secretary Gotabaya Rajapksha and the eldest son of former president Mahinda Rajapakshe, United Peoples Freedom Alliance(UPFA) MP Namal Rajapakshe have been questioned today(14) by  Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division over the fraud allegations leveled against them.

The former defense secretary gotabaya rajapakshe has given a statement to the police financial crimes investigations division Regarding the controversial MIG Air Craft Deal and share issuance of Lanka Hospitals .

Post Mortem Of The Five Year Old Girl- JMO Gave The Verdict As She Had Been Sexually Molested And Strangled To Death

The Five year old girl who found dead inside  a canal near her residence at Kotadeniyawa in Divulapitiya(In Western Province) yesterday(13) had been  sexually molested and strangled to death according to the verdict given by Judical Medical Officer(JMO) of  Negambo District Hospital today(14) at the Post Mortm held regarding the death.

The five year old Seya Sadewmi's dead body was found inside a canal near her residence yesterday by the Police.

 The Girl was reported as missing from her house since Saturday Morning and the Kotadeniyawa Police have receieved a complaint regarding the incident from her parents.During the special search operation carried out to find the missing girl police with the help of residents in the area have managed to found the body of the girl inside a canal near her house yesterday.

Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe To Leave India Today For A Three Day Visit

Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe will leave India today(14) for a three day official visit first since he assumed his duties as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.

During his visit Prime Minister Wikramasinghe will be hold bi lateral  talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,President Pranab Mukarjee and Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj.

To mark the Prime Minister's visit to India the Sri Lankan Government has decided to release 16 Indian fishermen who were arrested for allegedly  pouching in sri lankan waters as a goodwill gesture.
