Bodies Of The Eight LTTE Leaders Including Sea Tiger Leader Soosai Found From The Battlefield


The Bodies of Another Eight LTTE Leaders were identified today including the Body Of Sea Tiger Leader Soosai.Altogether Bodies of the 475 LTTE Cadres who were killed during the Last Battle were recovered from the Battle Field according the Sri Lankan Army Sources.

The Identified Bodies are that of LTTE Leaders Soosai,Verti,Ram Kumar,Komali,Annathurai,Rangan and Vinodan.

Along with these Cadres Two Female Bodies Suspected to be that of LTTE Leader Prabhakaren's Wife Madivadini and Daughter Dwaraka's too found Sources said.However Earlier Reports said that LTTE Leader's Wife was captured and his Daughter is in Abroad.

President Declares Tomorrow As A National To Tribute War Heroes

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha today Officially Announced the Ending OF the 25 year old War against LTTE and declared tomorrow as a National Holiday for all sectors in the Country as a Tribute to War Heroes of the Nation.

In his Address to the Nation from the National Parliament this Morning President said Finding a solution to the North East Conflict could be reach with the Assistance of All Political Parties in Sri Lanka and International Help not needed for this Process.He brushed away the Ethnic Differences by saying there are no Minorities in the Country except the two National Identities Patriots and Non Patriots.Military Solution is not the Final Solution for the Problem.

"Tamil People never believed or favored taking up Arms" President further stressed.

President Addressed the Nation after Inaugurating 4th Session of the 06th Parliament.

Body Of The Prabhakaren Identified By A DNA Test

The Body of the Most Dangerous Terrorist Leader of the World LTTE Leader Valupillai Prabhakaren Identified through a DNA Test Sri Lankan Defense Ministry Announced today.The Body that suspected as Prabhakaren was recovered by the Troops from the Battlefield earlier but it was brought to Colombo to perform a DNA Test Ministry added.Body of the Terrorrist Leader was now with the Army and his Identification Tag and the Identity Card too were found,

Sri Lankan Army Commander General Sarath Fonseka too confirmed today that the Body of the Terrorist Leader found.After Identifying , the Body was shown through the Government and Private T.V Channels here.Prabhakaren was killed yesterday when he and two of his deputies were tried to flee from Sri Lankan Troops.

Meanwhile Indian Government urged the Sri Lankan Government yesterday to produce Scientific Evidence to prove that Prabhakaren is killed so the Court will able to close the Case on Rajiv Gandhi Killing which Prabhakaren was the Prime Suspect.Other two Suspects LTTE Intelligence Chief Pottu Amman and Women Rebel Leader Akila already killed during confrontation with Sri Lankan Army.

Security Heads Informed The President On Military Victory Over LTTE

Security Heads including Army Commander Lt.General sarath Fonseka met the President Mahinda Rajapaksha this evening and formally informed him on the Military Victory over LTTE.

Meanwhile President Promoted Rankings of Army,Navy and Air Force Commanders in view of the Leadership they given to the Defeating Terrorism in the Country.According to the New Rankings Army Commander Lt.General Sarath Fonseka promoted to General Rank, Navy Commander Vice Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda promoted as Admiral and Air Force Commander Air Marshall Roshan Gunathilake given the Rank of Air Chief Marshall.

LTTE Leader Prabhakaren And Two Of His Deputies Killed When Trying To Escape From An Ambulance

LTTE Leader Valupillai Prabhakaren and two of his Deputies were killed this morning when they tried to Breakout the Army Encircle and escape from the No War Zone by an Ambulance Military Sources said.

Prabhakaren along with Sea Tiger Leader Soosai and LTTE'S Intelligence Chief Pottu Amman came out from their hideout this morning and tried to escape from the Area and Army Shot them Sources further Added.

Meanwhile after hearing the News of killing Prabhakaren Sri Lankan People overjoyed and celebrated it with Firing Crackers and dancing in the Streets.Thousands of people in to the Streets this noon to celebrate this event as it marks the end of 25 year old Ealam War Carried out by the LTTE.

Early in the Morning Bodies of the another Eight Key LTTE Leaders were found.Son of the LTTE Leader Charles Anthony,Artillery Specialist Bhanu,Chief of the LTTE Police Ilango,Political Head Balasingham Nadeshan,Chief of the LTTE Peace Secretariet S.Pulidevan,Key Leaders Ramesh Sundaram and Kapil Amman were killed due Army Attack this morning when they were in a Vehical.

French Wine And Snacks For IDP'S In Vavuniya

Two Boxes contained with Bottles of Wine and Some Snacks were found among the Essential Medicine Boxes donated by the French Embassy in Colombo to the Medical Supplies Division(MSD) last Friday .These Medicines were donated to send for treating IDP'S in Vavuniya it has been revealed.
When the MSD Officials checked the Boxes which are labeled as an Essential Drugs these were found and when informed on this the officers who were handover the stock to the Supplies Division taken away All the Boxes before checking them further.The Director of the Medical Supplies Division Dr.Weerabandara already inquired on this incident to the Health Ministry Officials.

President Rajapaksha To Address The Nation On Tuesday To Announce The Military Victory

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksha is due to Address the Nation on this Tuesday at Parliment on 9.30 A.M Local Time to Announce the Military Victory over LTTE.

Meanwhile Pro LTTE Web Site Tamil Net Published a Statement today issued by the Head of the International Wing of the LTTE Selvarasa Pathmanathan as saying that the LTTE had given up their fight and decided to "Silence Their Guns".However No Official Comment made by the LTTE regarding this Statement.
