Around 60,900 Families In 15 Districts Are Being Faced Drinking Water Shortage

 Around  60,900 families in fifteen districts are being faced severe drinking water shortage due to the severe drought prevailing in those Districts according to the Disaster Management Center.


According to the Director General of the Center Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe families lives in 15 districts including Ratnaoura,Vavuniya,Kurunagala,Jaffna and Monaragala districts are being faced severe drinking water shortage.The majority of these families are in Jaffna District he had stated.
