President Ranil Wikrmasinghe had removed the governors of three provinces with immediate effect as they have failed to step down from their posts as per the requests made the President's Media Division had announced.
Accordingly the Governors of North.Eastern and North Western provinces were removed by the President and the new governors will be appointed by the President tomorrow (17) The Media division had stated.
