The Election Commission in Sri Lanka which met today (03) to decide a fresh date to hold the local government election had decided to hold a special meeting next Tuesday (07) to announce the election date .
The new Election date for the local government election is scheduled to be announced next Tuesday after holding discussions with the Finance Ministry secretary on getting funds to hold the election the Elections Commission has announced.Earlier the Elections Commission has announced that a fresh date for the forthcoming local government election will be decided in today"s meeting .(03)
