Public Utilities Commission Split In To Two Sections Over Electricity Bill Hike

 Public utilities Commission which has the final authority to decide whether to approve Cabinet decision on increasing Electricity bill had broken in to two sections over the Cabinet decision according to the chairman of the Commission Janaka Ratnayake . 






The Chairman of the Public Utilities Commission Janaka Ratnayake had accused  at a Press briefing held yesterday (21) that although the four members of the commission including him had opposed initially on increasing the Electricity bill ,President Ranil Wikramasinghe had held a discussion with other three member of the Commission at President's office without inviting him and got approval of those three members for the decision .The Chairman of Public utilities  commission had stated that he will take a legal action against other three members of the commission over giving approval for the cabinet decision to increase electricity bill without his consent .,
