Number Of Wild Elephants Killed Due To Yesterday's Train Accident Risen To Three

 The two Wild Elephants who had been injured after colliding with a speeding Train traveled from Batticaloa to Colombo had succumbed to their injuries increasing the total number of Wild Elephants who had died due to the accident to three .Elephant | Species | WWF

The three Wild Elephants were killed after colliding with the Intercity Train   between Galoya and Hathraskotuwa Train stations  and the Train Engine and two carriages of the Train had been derailed as the result of  it  Sri Lanka Railways has announced,The disrupted train services between  Colombo Fort -Batticaloa railway line has been resumed last evening .No action has been taken against those responsible for this incident it has been revealed .
