The Kelanithissa Power plant was shut down since this morning (22) due to the shortage of Naptha chemical used to operate the plant it has been reported ..The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) not been able to find enough funds to purchase Naptha chemical and the officials of Ceypetco are currently holding discussions with the officials of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB ) regarding it according to reports
