Unloading of Two ships carrying Crude Oil and Octane-95 Petrol anchored at Colombo harbor has resumed today (13) according to the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekare .
Accordingly the unloading of a Ship carrying 99,978 Metric tonnes of Crude Oil and a ship carrying 19,505 Metric tonnes had resumed .A Petrol ship had arrived in the country first time since last April he had stressed .However Colombo harbor authorities had stated earlier that few crude oil and petrol and diesel ships had stuck in Colombo harbor since weeks due to the foreign reserve shortage .
