Ministry Of Power To Implement Island Wide Power Cuts From Today (04)

 The Ministry Of Power had decided to implement a minimum of One hour  long Island wide power cut for four days with effect from today (04).

This power cut will be imposed between 6 p.m to 9.30 p.m until restoring the power generating activity of the Norochcholai Coal Power plant which was broke down as a result of the Island wide blackout occurred yesterday (03) the Ministry has stated ,

The Norochcholai Coal power plant is generating a maximum of 900 Mega watts to the national power grid it has been revealed .
