Central Bank Had Issued A Circular Allowing Banks To Function With Minimum Number

 The Central Bank Of Sri Lanka has  issued a circular allowing  all licensed  Commercial and special banks to open these days to maintain essential services during  the travel restrictions currently being imposed throughout the island .


Accordingly Commercial banks can be functioned by following travel restrictions currently being imposed and adhering anti Corona health guidelines to maintain special bank service the Central Bank has stated .Bank authorities can bring  15 employees to work in a Bank branch under present circumstances it has been stated .

Meanwhile 07 Private Banks namely Seylan ,Sampath ,Commercial ,DFCC,Amana ,Nations Trust and Uniion has decided to close all their Bank branches for normal bank services with effect from.07 th of  June until 13 th of June  due to the Current travel restrictions imposed to curb Corona spread ..
