The former Parliament MP and Provincial Councillor Venerable Baddegama Samitha Thero(69) had passed away this morning whilst receiving treatment at a private Hospital in Matara for Breathing difficulties.

He had been tested positive for Corona virus recently and received treatment from Karapitiya Teaching Hospital and discharged from hospital few days back after full recovery it has been reported .
However after being returned to his temple from hospital he has again developed breathing difficulties and admitted to the private hospital yesterday it has been reported .
