Twenty One Corona Positives Had Been Reported Today (19)-Majority Are Imported Cases

A total of 21 Corona positives had been reported today (19) ,increasing the total number of Corona positives reported so far to 2724 according to the Epidemeology Unit.

Accordingly out of the 21 Corona positives reported today ,09 Were arrivals from Saudi Arabia ,04 were close contacts of Kandakadu Drug Rehabilitation Center corona cluster ,01 from Senapura Drug rehabilitation Center, 03 were arrivals from Qatar and 04 arrivals from India  (02) and United Arab Emirates  (02)the unit has stated

All these positives had been identified whilst undergoing quarantine at quarantine Centers.

At the moment 678 Corona positives are being treated at Government Hospitals.
