Sri Lanka Customs Had Begun Shipping Back Of 48 Freight Containers Containing Arsenic Contaminated Canned Fish To Chins

 Consumer Protection Unit attached to Sri Lanka Customs Had begun the shipping back of 48 freight Containers containing 768 Metric tonnes of Canned fish imported from China due to containing  high level of Arsenic  in these canned fish it has been announced


yesterday(17) .

Sri Lanka standard institute has declared the stock of this  Canned fish as unsuitable for human consumption after finding , containing Arsenic more than the required level According to sources .

Sri Lanka Customs had already shipped back two freight Containers  containing Arsenic contaminated canned fish  out of the fourty eight containers to China last evening .
