Only a Single Corona positive had been reported in the Country yesterday (31) through a less then 2000 "PCR " tests conducted to identify Corona positives during Friday according to the Epidemiology Unit, The Corona positive Identified yesterday (31) through a "PCR " test is the wife of the Corona positive identified in previous day from Lankapura Divisional Secretariat at Polonnaruwa the Unit has stated ,She was identified as a Corona positive whilst at a Quarantine Center and now she was hospitalized it has been reported .
Accordingly the total number of Corona positives identified in the country so far has been increased to 2815 and another 413 Corona positives and 48 Suspected vases are being treated at Government Hospitals at present .
Meanwhile as the Corona positive employee identified from Lankapura Divisional Secretarial had visited several places before being identified him as a positive including a police station , A Bank ,and an Aayurvedha hospital as well as a funeral house close contacts of him along with his family members are being quarantined at present it has been reported ,
More than 200 close contacts of the Corona positive identified including police officers and residents around his house had been performed "PCR " Tests and according to the test results of 156 persons received so far they have tested negative for the corona virus .
However more contacts of the Lnkapura Corona positives are being traced at the moment according to health authorities .
