Dissanayake has yesterday (06)warrants to arrest 09 persons including the UNP MP Ravi Karunanayake ,Former Central. Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran amd Perpetual Treasuries owner Arjun Aloysius over their involvment in Central Bank Bond Scam in 2015 .
However Magistrate has refused to issue warrants for 10 th suspect of the Bond Scam incident Buddhika sartah thchandra due to lack of evidence against him.
The arrest warrants had been issued according to a request made by Attorney General Dappula De Livera from the Acting Inspector General Of Police to obtain an arrest warrants from court to arrest these suspects .
However Magistrate has requested Attorney General's 'Department to provide evidence to confirm the link between these suspects and the Bond scam incident .
