Another 08 corona virus infected
persons had been identified today (15) and 07 of them were identified whilst undergoing quarantine at Kandakadu Quarantine center in Sungavil ,Polonnaruwa according to the Government Information Department .with these Corona virus positives the number of Cases identified in Sri Lanka had risen to 19 .
All 08 infected persons identified today are males and 07 of them arrived from Italy and one 45 year old male had arrived in Sri Lanka after visiting Germany the Department has stated .seven of the newly infected persons are currently receiving treatment at Polonnaruwa General Hospital and one tested positive after visiting Germany has been admitted to Infectious Diseases Hospital at Angoda .
The one who had been infected with Corona Virus after visiting Germany travelled with the other person visited Germany who had been identified as a coroma virus positive yesterday (14).
Meanwhile Health Authorities had decided to quarantine those who had arrived in Sti Lanka from Italy between 01-09 th of March who did not self isolated as requested by the Health Ministry.
