A special Sri Lankan Airlines Plane is
scheduled to leave for New Delhi ,India this evening (18)to bring nearly 1000 Sri Lankan Buddhist Pilgrims who are at Dambadiwa ,India the government has announced.
These pilgrims had left for Dambadiwa before implementing the pilgrim ban according to Ministry Of Buddha Sasana,Cultural Affairs and Religious Affairs .
The Plane carrying the pilgrims Is scheduled to be arrived to Katunayake International Airport before midnight tonight.
Sri Lanka is due to suspend all International Flights arriving in Sri Lanka for a two week period with effect from midnight tonight .
These pilgrims had left for Dambadiwa before implementing the pilgrim ban according to Ministry Of Buddha Sasana,Cultural Affairs and Religious Affairs .
