Tele Drama Actor Kavinga perera had
been arrested and remanded today (19)until 03 rd of March over involved in a fatal motor car accident at Kalalgoda, Wele handiya (Junction)area in Thalangama last night (19) which killed a 42 year old contract worker attached to Road Development Authority on the spot. .
Tele Drama actor Kavinga perera had driven his motor car under the influence of liquor by running over the contract worker and fled away from the scene last night according to the Thalangama Police.
After the accident the actor had continuously driven the vehicle it has been reported.
After the fellow workers of the deceased had complained on the incident Police have identified the owner of the vehicle which run over the deceased through the CC TV footage nearby .
Afterwards Actor Kavinga perera was arrested this morning by the police over the charges of fleding away after conmiting a fatal accident .
