Two persons arrested over
participating in a press briefing conducted by former Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne on white van abductions last November had been remanded until 27 th of December by the Colombo Chief Magistrate after been produced before the Magistrate today(16).
The two suspects Anthoney Jude Fernando and Athula Sanjaya Madamayake were arested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) last friday night (13) at Mahara area .
Later they were held in police under a 72 hour detention orders for questioning over white van abductions .
