The female visa officer Garnia
Bannister Francis attached to the Switzerland Embassy in Colombo who is alleged as abducted by a group of persons on 25 th of November ,Had appered before the Criminal Investigations Departmemt (CID)for the second day today (09) and given a statement to the CID Officers over the imcident .
CID officers had today informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne that they have recorded a 09 hour long statememt from the female visa officer .
Meanwhile Colombo Chief Magistrate has today extended the foreign travel ban imposed over the Visa officer until today (09) to 12 th of December .
Chief Magistrate has also.ordered the CID To get a medical examination report from a judicial medical Officer regarding her health status .The visa officer has refused to face a medical examination conducted by a male Medical officer yesterday it has been re ealed. .
Therefore Magistrate has ordered CID to provide the service of a female medical officer to the Visa officer francis .
Meanwhile local journalists had rushed to the house of the Swiss visa officer Garnia Francis today in colombo as a media briefing was scheduled to be held there.However the house was locked and the officer had not appeared the media briefing as announced it has been revealed .
