Prices of All imported Milk Powder
products have been reduced with effect from nidnight yesterday (08) accordance to Consumer Affairs Authority .
Accordingly the price of a 1 Kilo Gramme of Milk powder has been reduced by Rs.40 and 400 Grammes Milk Powder pack has been reduced by Rs.15.
The price revision has done to pass the benefit of reducing Value Added Tax(VAT) and Nation Building tax to the consumers government has announced .
Price reduction has been implemented after being held discussions with Milk powder companies .
However Government Medical Officers Assosiation has carried out an Anti Milk powder campaign during the previous good governance government saying Milk powders are not good for human health .
