A wild elephant had been killed after
colliding with a train travling from Colombo to Mannar this morning (13)at a railway crossing in Pediafarm area at Settikulam ,Vavunya .
The Elephant was around 20 years old it has been revealed .
Vavubiya Wildlife office is conducting an investigations on the incident .
