Two Young Children Were Killed And Their Mother Injured After Colliding With A Car Driven By 15 year Old Boy

A Mother had critically injured  and her son and daughter  of the ages 06 and 12 years were killed   after colliding with a Motor Car driven by a 15 year old Boy at Weeraketiya -Tangalle road today (02) according to the Weeraketiya Police .

The critically injured Mother and her two children had  admitted to the Weeraketiya Peripheral Hospital ,But they were later transferred to Tangalle Base Hospital where the  12 year old girl  had  succumbed to their injuries .

Afterwards both Mother and 06 year old son  had transferred to Matara General Hospital and the son  had succumbed to his  injuries there according to the Police .

The incident occurred when the Mother and her two children got off from a Bus and crossed over the road .

Weeraketiya Police have arrested the 15 year old Driver of the Motor Car and two others travelling in the Car over the incident .
