Wanathawilluwa Police have today
(19)arrested seven chinese nationals without valid visas near Aruwakkalu Garbage dump claiming they have worked at the dump with tourist visas in possession .
The suspected Chinese Nationals were arrested whilst travellimg to Wanathawilluwa area and they were later released on surety bails of Rs.100,000 each aftet being produced before Acting Puttalam Magistrate Abdul Cader .
These chinese nationals had been released on bail after the lawyer appeared before them informed the acting Magistrate that his clients had visited the Aruwakkalu Garbage Dump to study the activities there with the recommendation of China Harbour company .
After considering the facts submitted to the court by The lawyer of The suspects Acting magistrate had released them on bail.He had also ordered the suspects to hand over their passports to the court through the police and appear before the court on 22 nd of October.
