A syrian family comprising of a 29 year old Dental doctor his wife and small child had been arrested on their arrival at Arrival Lounge of the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday (20)by the Immigration and Emigration officials over submitting fraudulent passports indicating that they are United Arab Emirates nationals to officials .
After questioning the Emigration officials have expelled the suspected Family arrived from Dubai back tbere .
When checked the luggage of the suspects officials have recovered the original syrian passports of them hidden inside .However they have told the Immigration Emigration officials that they are United Arab Emirates nationals .
During the questioning the suspected Syrian Dental doctor and his
Wife told the Immigration amd Emigration officials that they have arrived in Sri Lanka for a tour in.view of migrating to another country due to political instability in Syria .
