All Wheat flour companies had agreed
today (10)to scrap the recent price hike of Wheat Flour and selling it for the old price with immediate effect accordance to the Minister of Agriculture P.Harrison .
The Wheat Flour Company representatives had met with the Cost of Living Committee today to show Cause the reason behind the recent price hike implemented by them.
All Wheat Flour companies had increased the price of a Kilo Gramme of Wheat flour without the permission of Consumer Affairs Authority by Rs.5.50 with effective from last friday (06).
Ministry of Agriculture had given three weeks for the flour companies to show Cause regsrding the price increase of Wheat flour .
