Sports Minister Harin Fernando has today (10)imposed a temporary ban on
former Cricket Board Chairman MP Thilanga Sumathipla preventing him involving in Administration activities of Sri Lanka Cricket Board .
Sports Minister had imposed the ban on Former Sri Lanka Cricket chairman Thilanga Sumathipala accordance to the powers vested with him under the Sports Act .Minister has informed the Cricket Board on this through a letter.
Meanwhile Sports Minister has appointed a Three member committee headed by Sports Director General to probe on whether Former Cricket Board Chairman MP Sumathipala could participate the meetings of the Board withing a month period .
