South Asia's Tallest Communication Tower Lotus Tower (NELUM Kuluna )To Be Inaugurated Tomorrow (16)

South Asia's Tallest Telecommunication  Tower "Lotus Tower "(NELUM Kuluna ) in Colombo built with a cost of US Dollars Million 104.3 is scheduled to be inaugurated by President Maithripala Sirisena  tomorrow evening  (16)at 5 p.m .Prime Minister  Ranil Wikramasinghe and Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakshe are scheduled to  be present at the occassion .

Construction work of the 356 meter tall Tower with 17 storyes   began in 2012 and  was 80 percent funded by Exaim Bank of China .Some features of the Lotus Tower built of  a shape of Lotus flower  are Banquet halls,Luxury hotels,Restuarent s  Offices, Meeting Hslls and 600 Seat revolving restuarent .
The Tower's sources of earnings  are  tourism and Antenna purchasing .
