h Workers belonging to 64 catagories in Government Hospitals Island Wide are scheduled to be withdrawn from their services from 8.A.m to 12 noon tomorrow (10)demanding solutions for 09 of their long standing service demands according to All Ceylon Health Services Union .
The striking workers will stage protests in front of 30 major government Hospitals including Colombo Natonal Hospital from 11 a.m to 12 noon tomorrow .
The Health workers including Minor staff and Attendants are demanding solutions for 09 of their service demands based on salary, promotions and Uniform allowance according to the Chief Secrerary of the union Mahinda Guruge .
For humanitarian reasons Health workers attached to five Hospitals imcluding Cancer Hospital Maharagama, De Soyza Maternity, Castle Street, Ridgway Children's and Peradeniya sirimawo Bandaranaike Teaching Hospitals will.not participate in the strike .
