The statement issued by the representative Council of European Union accordance to the agreement reached by Dutch,Italian,German,U.K,Switzerland and Norway Embassies/High Commissions it has been announced .
European has supported the deep concern paid by the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner Michelle Bachelet over the appointment of New Sri Lankan Army Commander Shavendra Silva the statement has stressed .
This appointment will seriously affect the commitment Sri Lanka made on National Reconciliation the statement has further stated .
