Ten Army Soldiers had been injured and hospitalized after the Jeep travelling from
Akkreipattu to Kalmunai area had veered off the road and toppled over at allimulla in Nindavir (Eastern Province)today (06).
The injured soldiers had been admitted to Nindavur,Ampara General ,Kalmunai Ashrof Memorial and Batticaloa Teaching Hospitals for treatment .
The incident occurred when the driver of the Jeep had attempted to save a herd of cattle crossed the road by pressing the breaks according to Police.Investigations are underway over the incident .
