Colpetty Police have today (09)detained
a female employee attached to Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Authority over releasing an internal letter issued by the Director General of Human resources of the authority regarding a security matter to the social media.
A photographed copy of the internal letter which contained unconfirmed information reharding some planned attacks of extremists group which also mentioned by Fieldmarshal. Sarath Fonseka yesterday (08) at Parliament During his speech, was Leaked to the social media by the detained female it has been revealed .
The female who.is a resident of Badulla is scheduled to be handed over to Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for further investigations .
