A Passenger had been killed and more than 50 others had been injured and hospitalized after
the Bus they were travelling in falling down a precipice near the Mahauvawatta Kovil on Walapane-Nuwara0-Eliya main road this evening (24).
The injured had been admitted to Walapane District Hospital and later they had been transferred to Nuwara-Eliya Base Hospital .
The injured were on a pilgrimage from Ampara at the time of the incident
