During an Island Wide raids carried
out from last night (23) until this morning (24) around 293 Drunken drivers had been arrested according to the Police Media Spokesman's
office.
Police have also arrested 1879 drivers over violating traffic rules and 127 drivers over driving without a license .
These raids were carried out under the instructions of Inspector General Of Police(IGP) Pujith Jayasundara.
