Airport Police have yesterday (30)
arrested two persons who had attempted to smuggle 304 Star Turtoises illegally to Malaysia on the pretext of carrying crabs at Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport.
The Star Turtoises stored in 20 boxes it has been revealed.
The suspects who are 34 and 40 year old residents of Rambukkana area are due to be produced before Negambo Magistrate Court .
