The person who had been critically
injured and hospitalized after his Motorcycle colliding with a Train at an unprotected Railway crossing in Ja-Ela ,Thuddla area yesterday (19) had succumbed to his injuries today (20) it has been revealed.
The wife of the deceased and daughter had been killed on the spot due to the Accident. The critically injured Motorcyclist had been admitted to the Intensive care unit of the Ragama Teaching Hospital where he had succumbed to his injuries whilst receiving treatment .
The accident occurred when the Motorcyclist attempted to cross the Railway crossing it has been revealed. The Motorcycle had collided with a Train travelling Colombo Fort from Puttalam .
