Six persons had been killed and Three
others had been critically injured after the Motor Car they were travelling in colliding with a Lorry transporting Fish at A Bridge across GIn Oya in Nainanadama ,Wennappuwa in wee hours of this morning (20)according to Police.
Accordingly Four persons has been killed on the spot and two persons had succumbed to their injuries after admission to hospital. The Three injured had been admitted to Negambo Base (02) and Colombo National (01 ) Hospitals for treatment.
The incident occurred when the Motor Car travelling towards Chilaw had collided with a rare side of a Fish Lorry travelling towards sane direction around 3 a.m today .
The Passangers in the Motor Car were on the way home after attending a function at Waikkala area it has been revealed .The deceased and injured had been identified as residents of Ulhitiyawa amd Colinjadiya areas .
