United National Party (UNP)will submit
a common candidate for the next Presidential Election, The National Organizer of the Party Navin Dissanayake has told media today (20)in Kandy.
The common candidate will be a UNP Member and there are so many eligible Candidates in the party suit as the candidate he has stressed after meeting with chief incumbents of Malwathu and Asgiriya Vihara in their respective temples to explain the current political situation to them.
The UNP Common Candidate submit for a future Presidential Election Can be a middle aged person he has stressed.
A group of UNP Leaders including National Organizer Navin
Dissanayake met the Chief incumbent thero's and handed over a copy of the no confidence motion passed in Parliament recently against the minority government of New Premier Mahinda Rajapakshe Along with a list of 122 MP's who have signed it .
