Fierce Fighting Has Erupted Among Tuskers And Elephants At Kala And Balalu Wewa Areas

Fierce fighting has  erupted among Tuskers and Wild Elephants near Kala Wewa (Tank) and Balalu Wewa these days during mornings and noon due to the 'must ' season of them it has been reported.

Among the Tuskers and Elephants that are involved in fighting with others are "Ravatha" Elephant and "Esala" Tusker .

Mother Elephants are  meanwhile  reportedly attempting to save their  Baby calf's from the fighting according to reports.

Wild Life officers have appealed the villagers to refrain from loitering around Kala and Balalu Wewa areas due to the Elephant -Tusker fightings.
