More than 10 acres of land belonging to
Adhaluwa reserve at Udawalawa area had been destroyed due to a sudden fire erupted in the Reserve last night (24)it has been reported.
Wild life officers believes that the fire may have erupted due to the dry weather prevailing in the area at present and winds caused the fire spreading faster.
Special Police Task Force and Police personal along with the residents of the area had managed to douse the fire before spreading it further.
