Four persons including a father of a child have been arrested by the Megalawa Police in Anuradhapura yesterday(17) over feeding a 25 month old infant with liquor on 14 th of July.The four suspects imcluding the child's father were remanded until 01st of August after being produced them before the Galgamuwa Magistrate court today(18).
The suspects have been arrested over the charges of making a child in to cruelty.
The child had been produced before the Anuradhapura Judicial Medical Officer for a medical test.
