A State Bank branch in Thalawa Anuradhapura was
robbed by an individual or a group and taken Cash and Gold worth
Rs.80.7 million it has been revealed.
The robbery believes
to be done during the weekend and the robbers had entered the Bank by
breaking the back door and had cut three out of the four highly safe
deposit lockers of the Bank by using Gas Cutters and taken around 22.5
kilo grammes of Gold worth more than Rs.70 million and cash worth
Rs,10.7 million and fled away from the scene it has been revealed. Monday, July 2, 2018
