A 26 year old youth Manager and 08 female sex workers have been arrested by a Police Team attached to the Panadura Walana Anti Corruption Unit during a raid carried out in a Brothel House maintained on the pretext of a Ayurveda Massage Center(SPA) at Negambo Road Kandana this morning (20).The arrested females are of the ages 32-36 years and residents of Kimbulapitiya,Kolambageara,Kotuwagoda,Seeduwa and Nuwara-Eliya areas it has been revealed.
The raid was carried out as per a search warrant obtained from Wattala Magistrate Court and the arrested females and the male are due to be produced before the court today.
Kandana Police are investigating over the incident.
