A Buddhist Bhikku(Monk) was injured and hospitalized due to a Wild Elephant attack at Wewelketiya in Madawachchiya-Anuradhapura early this morning (20) it has been reported.The Injured Bhikku was admitted to the Anuradhapura General Hospital for treatment and his condition is not serious according to the reports.He had faced this incident while on the way to the Temple after arriving Wewelketiya from Colombo.
