Thirty Five suspects including the leader of "Mahason "Balakaya Amith Weerasinghe who have been arrested and remanded over involving in recent communal violence in some areas of Kandy District were further remanded by the Teldeniya Magistrate M.H Fareek Deen after been produced before the Court today(14).A case was filed against the Thirty five suspects in Teldeniya Magistrate Court under five charges including making ethnic violence's.
The leader of the Mahason Balakaya ,Amith Weerasinghe was taken to the Anuradhapura Prison after the court order to remand him further and other 34 suspects have been taken to Prison in Dumbara-Pallekale .Some of these suspects have been arrested by the Terrorism Investigations Division in various places of the island.
